Stop the Dieting

Hi Friends!

Dieting....it is one of the most popular things in our society. We all know at least 1 person if not more that has tried a certain diet, it may even be you that has tried many different diets. We jump from diet to diet hoping that one will either work or will not cut out a lot so we can stick to it. But when trying to lose weight it has to be more than just a diet change it has to be a lifestyle change and one that fits our life. We have to be fully committed and it can't just be you totally cutting things out or not eating at all. You have to make sure that you are eating a balance diet. Most diets that are out there will tell you to cut things out like carbs completely or they will tell you to increase.

The reason in my opinion why diets don't work is because they one don't account for the type of person you are and two are too restrictive. Most of all diets may actually be doing more harm than good. For example if you eliminate carbs from your diet you are taking away your body's biggest form of making energy. This in turn will make you more tired and you will not want to workout. In order for you to see the results you want then you have to stop the dieting!

I have found that if people are more conscious of what they are eating and are working out then

they have more success. Also you have to keep in mind that when you want to lose weight and get healthier it has to be a lifestyle change it can't be temporary. When I talk about being more conscious of what you are eating it means check the nutritional facts and see what the different ingredients are. Do NOT look at the calories. Calories are not always a good indicator of whether something is good for you are not. Take for example avocados they have a lot of calories, but they have some many nutritious things for you. You are probably thinking eating healthy and looking at the nutrition facts is hard work and I agree 100%. That is why I suggest that you give yourself a cheat day every 2 weeks. Now, if you try a cheat day and it throws you completely off then don't give yourself a cheat day, but it is a good way to reward yourself for all the hard work you have put in.

So, stop the dieting just more conscious of what you are putting into your body and how it affects in you in the long run.
