This past weekend we had a lot going on. It all started Thursday when my husband finally came home after being at training for A MONTH. It was a hard month without him, but I made it. Once he was home we had a lot going on. The big thing and probably the thing that we were both most excited about was going on the Handlebar Indy for my dad's 60th birthday.
If you haven't heard of it or seen anything like it. It is basically a bar that you pedal through the city. You have the option of whether you want a motor or not. We of course opted out of the motor and oh man was it a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. Even though there were about 12 of us peddling it was still hard to get started after you started. It was so cool to just peddle through downtown Indy and enjoy the sights with friends and family while enjoying the beverage of your choice.
If you have not done this I would highly suggest doing it. It is a lot of fun and just something different to do.
