Pretty in Plum
Christmas presents looked a little different for me this year. I was so nervous to tell anyone to get me clothes because with being pregnant (first trimester post) I don't really know what I will be fitting into. However, my mom still wanted to get me a few clothing items so she took me to Loft and told me to pick out some sweater or other items that I thought my tummy could grow into. Anyone else ever have to shop for your growing tummy? First off, it is just weird because I never thought this would be something I would be doing. Second, it was really frustrating because there were so many cute things, but I knew they wouldn't fit for long at all. I joke with my mom and sisters that I should just take a basketball or volleyball with me while shopping and see if it will fit under a top and still look good.
No matter how much I was not a fan, I did end up finding a few items that I thought I could wear for more than a couple of weeks. One of those items was this maroon sweater tunic. With the length and how oversized it was I knew that it would be perfect for my growing tummy. I paired it with my favorite clothing right now Loft leggings. You could also pair it with a pair of black pants like these or just jeans like these. I decided to go with a taller boot because of all the cold and snow we have been having, but you could also pair it with black booties like these or these, or even these.
This sweater is one that needs to be in your closet it is so soft and comfortable. It also hides anything that you are trying to hide. And of course, if you are pregnant it will grow with your tummy.
