A Few of My Favorite Things
I am not going to lie I was very ready to get this week done and over with. I worked from home on Monday and only had to make it through 3 days in the office. I kept telling myself that I just needed to make it to Thursday and then I would have the rest of the year off. Which threw me off a little bit because I sat there and tried to figure out where this year went. How are we only 3 days away from Christmas and a little over a week away from the New Year? I know that many bloggers have started to plan for next year and get their goals together. I am going to be honest I have not. Between being pregnant and trying to get this year wrapped up at work I just have not had time to sit down and really figure out what next year looks like for Stylings of Stacey. Don't worry I plan on figuring all this out while I am off next week.
While this time of year is one of my favorite times of year there are things this week that really made it a good week.
Baby Clothes
I have always love how cute and small baby clothes are, but ever since I found out I was pregnant all I have wanted to do is buy baby clothes. My husband is the one that stops me from buying baby clothes because one we don't know the gender yet and two we will be getting a lot of clothes at our shower. Bright Colored Sweaters
I feel like it is not usual to see bright colors during the winter months. You see a lot of black and deep reds, but not a ton of bright colored sweaters. This year I have really been into bright colored sweaters. Maybe it's because my husband always tells me that I need to add color to my closet (anyone else?).

Wrapping Paper
This year for whatever reason I tried a little harder on my wrapping job. I am not saying that in years past I didn't care or it didn't look good, but a lot of times it was your run of the mill normal wrapping paper with a shiny bow. This year I tired a little harder and got a little bit different wrapping paper and used some twine instead of the shiny bow.
Walking Lunges
I finally got back into doing legs. I seemed to always skip the days at the gym when it was supposed to be leg day, but once again I am learning to love it. Walking lunges are for sure not easy especially when you do them at the end of your workout, but I always feel so great doing them.
"Mary Did You Know" by Pentatonix
I know that this song is not originally by them, but I love their version. This song really just hits home right now because Mary gave birth to a little baby that was going to change the world. How cool would that have been? If you have not heard this version click here.
