Week 1 Of 2018 Favorites

It has been a little bit since I have posted anything on here. Honestly, I took a little bit of a break from blogging and social media over the holidays. It is already such a busy time and I wanted some time to just myself and my family. It was great to take a break, but I am ready to get back into it. I have a lot of exciting things planned for this year and can't wait to see how they all unfold.

I thought about making my first post back about my new years resolutions, but I don't really do new years resolutions. I set goals each month for myself instead, but I have decided that this year I will find joy in every moment even when it seems like there is no joy.

To start things off on the right foot here are just some things that have brought me joy this week.

Adidas Shoes

Adidas has really been making a come back and I can't say that I am upset about that (90s baby). With some of my Christmas money I went out and bought this pair of Adidas sneakers. I can't wait to see what all I can wear them with.

Sherpa Pull-Overs

I have been eyeing these pull-overs since before Christmas and actually asked for one for Christmas, but I ended up not getting one. So, again with my Christmas money I went out and bought this one. It is so warm and comfortable. I throw it on a lot on my way out the door to the gym.

Squats

It has been a while for me since I have done legs let alone squats. I did them the other day and ooooh did it feel good to get back into squatting. Don't worry with being pregnant I am not doing anything too crazy. If you are looking for other leg exercises check out this post.

Philippians 4:6-7

I am not going to lie I have been super anxious lately. Anxious about a new baby in our lives, about finding out the gender, about what is to come with this new year. One of my co-workers knew this and left this verse on my desk and it honestly really calmed me down. I need to remember that God is in control of everything and I just need to give everything over to Him.
